LATENCY IS PHYSICS
Control and manipulation loops close in milliseconds, deterministically, every cycle. A cloud round trip — with its queueing, jitter, and retries — is not a budget you can spend.
THE DATA CANNOT LEAVE
Facility video, process telemetry, and site layouts are a plant's most sensitive operational record. Much of it is prohibited from leaving the boundary, and all of it is costly to move.
A COMPROMISED ROBOT IS A SAFETY EVENT
A machine that acts in the physical world must be provably un-tampered. Integrity has to be a safety property enforced by architecture — not an IT control audited after the fact.

Sealed image
Each node is being designed to boot from a signed, read-only system image carrying a single defined workload. If it is not in the image, it does not run.
Hardware attestation
Nodes are architected to prove what they are before they participate: which hardware, which firmware, which image — measured at boot and verifiable after.
Air-gap capable
Designed for zero runtime dependency on external networks. Updates arrive as signed bundles carried across the boundary on your schedule and your terms.
US integration
Integration and final assembly in the United States, with the supply chain treated as a design requirement rather than a procurement afterthought.

E31 Network is in active development, and nothing on this site describes a shipped product. We are working with a small number of design partners to shape the system against real fleets, real facilities, and real constraints.
